In a country where Nobel prize winner in economics are born we mindlessly to pursue policy of mis-selling causing continuous deception to investors, our fellow citizens channelised through the regulators itself in this case R.B.I. This is a main cause that out GDP is not increasing.
Will the need for EUIN be done away with in case of payment banks ?
A competition should healthy a d bendfi ci for customers. Entry of new player will target revenues not a good service to the customers
The idea seems quite good, but then is it practical ? How are they going to make profits ? Is it just by non interest income ? Further they will not be able to charge for services like payments and receipts . What will be their revenue model? It would be far better if existing banking infrastructure expands much more widely and open payment branches with limited operations. The rural folk would take their own time to get used to mobile banking etc.,
very useful and informative
Can i work with payment bank as a Advisors
i am very hopeful about mutual fund growth. payment banks will create oppourtinies as well as competetion, do your work sincerely.
pl send me information of payment banks
Another tough competiting segment. We must turn over concentration on rural segment.Anyway financial intermediary business no longer will be gainful occupation. We must upgrade ourselves as advisors with suitable quantative professional & technical methods
We can really expand our business with help of payment banks as doing SIP from a remote place in INDIA will be possible.Non availability of MICR and IFSC codes which hampers present SIP/Lumpsum investments will no longer be there. I am very optimistic about the whole set up of payment banks. There will be competition particularly from NSDL, POSTS etc but serious and trustworthy advisors need not worry.
