At the outset congrats Vijay for your new initiative called Wise Advice. Truly informative videos which helps me learn, relearn and unlearn various aspects when I am 64 years old. Ashish hit the bulls eye by asking the MFDs to come out of the LIC AGENT mindset. After I retired from a bank and took up a LIC agency, the first meteor that hit me was when the Development Officer was asking me (rather directing me) to sell only new products that were launched. I could read his mind like the back of my hand who was trying to promote new and worthless products from the LIC stable under the garb of savings products and that was the last day I stayed with LIC. We as distributors know better. No wonder that today the biggest enemies to MFDs are a) LIC of India and b) Banks cross selling (rather mis-selling) insurance and mutual fund products. Banks are worried that all their deposits are being converted into SIPs and LIC is worried about the pace at which MFs are growing. No wonder that SBI AMC is the largest player in the MF space in terms of AUM. So the moral of the story, stop behaving like LIC AGENTS and start behaving like a self employed entrepreneur. Great insights Ashish. Thanks again.

Its always wonderful to listen to Ashish. He has been a pioneer in this space. There are various takeaways but which caught my attention was that the humble admission that 250 people have left his organization. I can imagine the pain of recruiting, training and losing people. It involves tremendous hardwork and commitment from his end. Well done, Ashish. Persistence and perseverance pays. Wish you scale greater heights!
